Rivet nut headless
The HONSEL "collarless" rivet nut can be used in existing and new applications. The rivet nut can be installed flat in smooth holes without additional chamfering because it is completely embedded in the material.
Skipping the chamfering process offers enormous savings potential. Because the rivet nut is flush with the material surface and doesn't protrude, components can be assembled without interfering edges or slide over each other without obstruction.
For installing collarless rivet nuts, you can continue to use your existing standard HONSEL installation tools: pneumatic riveters and battery-powered riveters using a special tip.

The rivet nuts have a high-quality anti-corrosion coating (zinc-nickel) with resistance to salt spray for 720 hours.

A standard rivet nut with a mini conical collar does not require chamfer drilling but protrudes 0.4 mm above the material surface.
The HONSEL rivet nut without collar does not require chamfer drilling and does not protrude above the material surface.
